Craziness in the Form of Everything

This past week has been insane. Crazy busy. Stressful. And awesome. :)

Let's see.

I took my finals for the pre-reqs I was taking. Don't know how I did on them, but honestly don't really care. I'm just happy to have them done.

We cleaned the house and some people came to look at it and it looks incredibly likely that it'll be selling some time soon. Crazy!

Alabama family came and we ran the Indianapolis 500 Mini Marathon again (my fourth time). I ran it mostly on my own this time...as much as you can in a crowd of 35,000 runners. That was a new experience for me. It meant I set my own pace (slow enough to never be breathing through my mouth...) and got to listen to This American Life the entire way. Awesome! Sprinted at the end like usual. :)

We meant to go blues dancing, but that fell through and we ended up going to see The Avengers (enjoyed it very much!).

Bid farewell to my parents as they headed off to Turkey. Made blueberry cinnamon rolls for breakfast for the family.

Pure awesome for awhile in there.

Was introduced to this beautiful poem.

Choose Something Like a Star

O Star (the fairest one in sight),
We grant your loftiness the right
To some obscurity of cloud --
It will not do to say of night,
Since dark is what brings out your light.
Some mystery becomes the proud.
But to be wholly taciturn
In your reserve is not allowed.
Say something to us we can learn
By heart and when alone repeat.
Say something! And it says "I burn."
But say with what degree of heat.
Talk Fahrenheit, talk Centigrade.
Use language we can comprehend.
Tell us what elements you blend.
It gives us strangely little aid,
But does tell something in the end.
And steadfast as Keats' Eremite,
Not even stooping from its sphere,
It asks a little of us here.
It asks of us a certain height,
So when at times the mob is swayed
To carry praise or blame too far,
We may choose something like a star
To stay our minds on and be staid.

Had some girlfriends over to spend the night. Watched My Big Fat Greek Wedding and Sita Sings the Blues.

(Sita Sings the Blues - Trailer)

Visited friends in Cincy. Gave blood. Gave myself a self-guided tour of UC campus before resting in the Law Building Library with Brandon. :) Frozen Yogurt. Midnight in Paris. Dominoes. Good conversation.

Life is incredible right now. And I'm loving it.
